Tritorian Whales by JaynaPavlin Tritorian Whales by JaynaPavlin
digital painting i started; then set down for weeks, then came back to; so probably about 4 hours total

Lacking eyes the Tritorian Whales see completely through sonar and intricate fins that can detect minute fluctations in the water miles away. Sadly the phosphorescence of their gland has led them to being over hunted due to the price it fetches on the black market.

Beautiful and amazing animals.  And it is sad that these whales, like those on Earth, are being hunted ruthelessly.
